Desert Well Station was used as a stage stop on the Overland Mail Company in the early 1860s and as relay station for the Pony Express towards the end of the famous mail delivery service in 1861. Mesquite/St. George Site Opinions?
What ghost towns and back roads are must sees in the Mesquite/St. George area? Also Highway 6 and 93 between Tonopah and the border. We are going on a family ghost town trip and I have never been to the area. Mountain Meadow Massacre Memorial and Lost City Museum are on my list.
