The Kid is 21!
Happy 21st birthday to The Kid! He chose one of my favorites for dinner, the 1859 Gold Hill Hotel. Dinner was amazing as always. I had the Miner's Tri-Tip and bacon-wrapped shrimp. Fall Finale Ghost Town Trip
My good friend Kris has been wanting to see Chemung. I kept stalling the trip, knowing fall was the prettiest time at Chemung. Henness Pass Emigrant Route
Before the first winter storm, my friend Steve took me on his "10-cent Truckee Tour." It was a beautiful day with perfect fall weather. Thankfully, we went when we did. A wildfire started that night, and the area was evacuated the following day.
