The Sweetwater Mountains straddle the border of Nevada and California. Highway 388 runs on the east side of the range through Sweetwater Flats and is one of my favorite Sunday drives. Travel Update: Full Post to Follow I hope you had a great Thanksgiving weekend. We had a quite but nice weekend at the ranch. Dog Days of Fall: Munckton & Dog Town

The best color we found was right below Munckton, so of course I had to go visit the mill site. Milling Around: Carson River Mills
Travel Update: Full Post to Follow I spent the weekend following the V&T Railroad to six 160 year old mills on the Carson River. The train transported ore from Virginia City and dropped it down chutes at each mill.
