Edel was sad I didn’t feel well last week. I’m not sure she cared if I was sick or more that she didn’t get to go exploring. Edel is always so excited to go anywhere. I don’t understand; as soon as she loads up, she goes to sleep. Her favorite position is curled up on my little one’s seat with her head on the opposite, folded seat.
I have no idea how
this is comfortable
Hubby is off work this week, so we took a drive to Smith Valley. I am in Hoye Canyon routinely but have not found the exact location of the Hoye Station bridge. Austin of Nevada Expeditions shared coordinates, so I flew the drone for pictures to update my article. The concrete bridge foundation is newer but in the exact location as the 1860s bridge, which served the Sonora Emigrant Trail.
This weekend I started work on articles about my favorite ghost towns in different regions of Nevada. The list is what I would suggest to friends and family; each has lots to explore, additional activities in the area, and does not require heavy-duty off-roading. So if you have a favorite ghost town, let me know to consider it for the list.
