The ghost town map makes it easier to see what towns are in a specific area, even if they are in separate counties. Now, I have so many towns that alphabetical order was getting long to scroll through.
I will bribe the family into a trip photographing Christmas in Virginia City. Hopefully, lunch at the Cider House and a stop at the Chocolate Factory will seal the deal. If not, I’m sure I can find something to explore this weekend. I think a ghost town Christmas photoshoot might be fun. Please share if you know of historical places decorated for the season.
Poor Enclave had to wait for the ice to melt
Honey Badger had fun in the snow this week. Much to her chagrin, my little one was one of the few kids at school on time. The parking lot looked like a Jeep conference, and there were lots of smug Jeep waves. Hubby called to tell me the SUV was stuck. It was good in the snow, but the layer of ice underneath had the SUV sliding toward the river bank. We left the SUV, and I got him to work to pay for Jeep parts.
