The map will assist in locating ghost towns for visualization and planning purposes. You can zoom in for closer detail. Markers link to articles and photos of the towns.
Please note this is a beta version and is under construction. Phone and tablet users may need to close the grey window after returning to the map after clicking a marker. Phones have a blue “close” button at the bottom of the screen; tablets have an “X” at the top right corner. You can also refresh the screen. I am trying to work with the developer to see if this can be changed.
Thank you to fellow explorers, beta testers, and especially my long-time friend and designer, Tara, who has stuck with me on the crazy ride getting this up and going.
I will be adding new ghost towns to the map as I travel to new locations.
