Heartwarming Weekend
I had the most heartwarming call this weekend. A man in a ghost town group saw my pictures of Chinese Grave. He told me about more Chinese graves and helped me find the location for my upcoming trip. Key West has amazing history. We drove Seven Mile bridge, visited Hemingway House, Fort Zachary Taylor and took a tour of haunted sites. Construction on Fort Zachary started in 1845. Prior to the start of the Civil War it was occupied by the U.S. Navy’s East Gulf Coast blockade squadron. Alkali Spring, Nevada
Alkali Springs has been a popular resting place for visitors for over one hundred years. In the early 1900s, it was a trendy resort, restaurant, and dance hall.
