Turn & Burn

June 20, 2022 2 Comments

Duluth The last week has been pretty crazy. I left to take my little one to camp in Duluth, Minnesota, on Monday. It ended up a 48-hour turn and burn, taking her and coming home the next day. I couldn't have asked for better connections or flights, but it was a long few days. We arrived at midnight in Duluth to find they had almost no transportation. It was a stressful and long hour, but ... VIEW POST

Sutro Ghost Town Renaissance

June 9, 2022 14 Comments

Oregon California Trails Association (OCTA) worked with Institute for Canine Forensics (ICF) to identify 170-year-old grave sites. The volunteers for ICF and their dogs are amazing. Each dog is trained to identify human bones or ... VIEW POST

In three weeks, I have had: two presentations, co-led two group tours for Trails West, given a private tour I donated for charity, had special access to the Franktown Cemetery, took the kid to Shriner's, finished the school year for both kids, and had trips visiting fifty-five ghost ...
