Christmas 2022
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! My sister and her family are visiting from Idaho. We have eaten our way through the holidays. For four days, I have pretty much cooked or cleaned. Winter in Genoa
Wednesday, I woke to pogonip, frozen fog. I love pogonip; it makes the entire world look white and surreal. It reminds me of Hoth, the frozen planet in Star Wars. Thunder Ranch Trek
Last week, I headed to Lakeview, Oregon, to train with world-renowned firearms instructor Clint Smith at Thunder Ranch. A three-day defensive handgun class was available, and I jumped at the chance to train at the finest facility of its kind in the world.
