My mom and I had a nice day traveling to Death Valley, aside from me ending up in “Jail” in the ghost town of Bullfrog.
It is probably good I didn’t drive Honey Badger. The wind was crazy, and I would have been all over the road. After all my trips last year, Tonopah felt like returning home. We only stayed long enough for a quick lunch and a few photos but I plan on being back soon.
We spent a little time in Rhyolite and Bullfrog. I would like to plan a day or two in the ghost towns. Fences have been added to many of the structures since my last visit. While I’m glad to see them protected, is difficult to explore and photograph.
Tonight we got settled in our room and had a “buffet” dinner off our desk. I went for a walk and met a super nice group who will be exploring ghost towns tomorrow.
Please forgive any typos, grammar errors, or bad photos and editing. I’m working on my iPad and cell only with limited internet.
