Galena Trip
Even without Honey Badger I was able to get out and explore. Galena has been on my list to visit. It was founded in 1860 for lumber milling and processing ore from Virginia City. The school is all that remains after two fires in the late 1860s. I was treated to a pretty site Saturday morning, 10-15 balloons were taking off as I drove past. “All I need is my dog and my Jeep”
The shirt says it all. Sadly, one of those things is missing and my garage looks lonely. I took Honey Badger to the shop for a recall and what I thought was a stuck heater knob. No such luck, she has a crack in the radiator. It’s taking longer to repair as it’s under warranty. I’m sad not to have her this weekend but thankful I didn’t have an issue in the middle of nowhere.
