Searching for history in little-known ghost towns can be like prospecting; you search and search and find little to no treasure. A glint of promise teases, yet the vein is shallow and quickly runs out. This was my search for the trio of towns on Mt. Patterson. The information I found was sparse and had little depth. Following a tour we had full access to photograph the site.The original mill was built in 1861 and increased over the years to 30-stamps. Jungo Road Jumble
Travel Update: Full Post to Follow Our most interesting stop on a Nevada Backroads trip was two old mining claim on Jungo Road. We visited Sawtooth Mill and an unidentified mining camp on Jungo Road.
