Travel Update: Full Post to Follow I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was busy but lots of fun. Hiking in Desolation Wilderness. No bear sightings, but I explored a Gold Rush era resort, amazing scenery and beautiful waterfalls. Fall in the Sierras is all about contrast. Super cold mornings and warm days. The roads were challenging for me: steep, rocky, tight, and sandy with big drop offs. I was the only female and new off road driver. Travel Update: Full Post to Follow Even without Honey Badger I was able to get out and explore. Galena has been on my list to visit. It was founded in 1860 for lumber milling and processing ore from Virginia City. The school is all that remains after two fires in the late 1860s. I had a great day Friday. I love Honey Badger, but a turbo RZR is a heck of a lot of fun! We went up Mt. Patterson from Sweetwater, Nevada. The forecast was clear, but a storm started to roll in.
