Nevada Ghost Towns & Beyond

My mom and I had a nice day traveling to Death Valley, aside from me ending up in “Jail” in the ghost town of Bullfrog. It is probably good I didn’t drive Honey Badger. The wind was crazy, and I would have been all over the road. After all my trips last year, Tonopah felt like returning home. We only stayed long enough for a quick lunch and a few photos but I plan on being back ... VIEW POST

It is time for my Mom’s first Ghost Town Road-Trip! It is strange to be leaving without Honey Badger. But, while my mom town SUV isn't as capable off the road, it will be a lot more comfortable. "The car" got a good bath today. Only HB received a name and gender, which Hubby and I disagree on, but that is another story… in which I'm right, of course. I sadly washed off Edel's nose ... Unfortunately, this weekend my travel companions had to cancel their trip to Death Valley, leaving me to debate what to do. First, I thought of seeing what Nevada Expeditions was doing and spending a few days ghost-towning based in Fallon. Then I looked at the weather report in Death Valley, sunny and 70... decision made.
