Dayton Lime Kilns Historic photogrph

Dayton Lime Works

March 20, 2022 2 Comments

Dayton Lime Works are little-known lime kilns in Lyon County. The trio of 150-year-old kilns are a one-of-a-kind piece of Nevada history. Austin of Nevada Expeditions kept me company and, as always, showed me little treasures along the way. Avansino Ranch Our first stop was at Mogul. The Avansino Ranch was originally deeded in 1869 to Crystal Peak hotel and store owner Uriah D. ... VIEW POST
