Como Come Along

November 13, 2022 Leave a Comment

I headed out with 775 Off-Road & Recovery Group (775 OFR) to recover a vehicle stranded in the Pine Nut Mountains, past Como ghost town. The owner was out last week during the storm looking for mountain lions. Unfortunately, a rock hit his oil pan, and he lost power and steering. Thankfully he found a cell signal down the slope at the turn of Como Berts Cabin and ... VIEW POST

If it is the latter, what is the history of the rock foundations on the river? These questions ... VIEW POST

This put me at 800 rounds in two weeks. Three more weeks until I head to Thunder Ranch. I learned to use the magazine reloader and clean the guns. I love my new eye and ear protection from Scheels. Thy ... VIEW POST

Monday Mayhem

Tami's Travels: Full post to follow I had an amazing trip Monday, right before the storm came in. This site has been on my list for years since I first saw the picture, but the "sketchy" road kept me away. It was good I didn't know our destination before the trip; I wouldn't have slept well. This trip was the first heavy off-road since Honey Badger got her lift and tires. She did ... VIEW POST
