Piedras Blancas Light Station
On each trip to Cambria on the Central California Coast, I visit a different historical location. The lighthouse had been on my list but required reservations. I finally got to visit on a beautiful summer day. The lighthouse first operated in 1874 to warn sailors of the point and help in navigation along the coast. A fog horn was added in 1906. After taking my son back to Mesquite, Nevada Expeditions and I took advantage of the last of the cool weather in April and headed to Las Vegas. Ely Explorations
On July 4th, Nevada Expeditions and I took advantage of the long weekend and headed to the Ely area.
