Honey Badger is finally home after almost six months.

The warranty company was horrible. They made the shop break the engine down three times, taking time to send an adjustor out. Even though the adjustor said it needed a new engine the first time, they said he wasn’t authorized to approve it. It was a known generation 1 issue that caused metal shavings in the engine.

Now I have a Jasper generation 4 engine; I heard this is what the racers use. It has a three-year 100,000 warranty.

After driving only the Grand Cherokee for six months, it was strange driving a Rubicon. I love her and she is fun to drive but not necessarily pleasant, especially on the freeway.

I am anxious to take her for a shake-down!
