I hope you had a good New Years Eve and Day. Today, I looked back on my most popular photos of 2020.
The first was “Wilson” (of Home Improvement fame), the deer trying to hide behind a fence. 1.7 thousand likes in Crap Wildlife Photography.

The second was my daughter, not because of the photo but her comments about cleaning eggs: ”Seriously. People have the most ridiculous expectations of something that comes out of a chicken butt”. 1.5 thousand likes and still going.

We didn’t let Covid change our traditional New Years Eve plans. As always we stayed home and away from drunk and stupid people. In a nod to ghost towns, I made steamed clams in creamy white wine. Did you know it’s common to find oyster shells at ghost towns? Oysters were shipped from the coast in ice filled wagons and were either a delicacy or a status symbol due to the expense. My vote is status symbol because
If weather holds I’m supposed to visit the first ghost towns of 2021 this weekend with friends.
