I enjoyed guiding the Carson Valley Photo Club to Chemung and Masonic and running into readers. Thanks Robin for riding shotgun and keeping me entertained! Robin has been brave and on several trips, including a multi-day girl trip.
After a brief history lesson, everyone explored and photographed the ghost towns. I look forward to seeing their pics. One gentleman from New York thought the washboard road was quite the adventure! It was fun introducing new people to ghost-towning.
I spent my time with the drone, re-creating historical photos and flying to the aerial tram.
The rabbit brush made the photos but I was thankful to be able to open my eyes the next morning!
It has been a long process, but the cover design for In the Shadow of the Sierra started Friday. It is in the final edit stage, and I have a meeting with the editor this week. I hope it will be out before Christmas, but so many steps are involved.
