I present at Dangberg Home Ranch Historical Park in Minden on Saturday, the 10th, from 10 to 11 a.m.
The title is Nevada Ghost Towns, but I am working on an entirely new presentation: Best Ghost Town Trips from Carson Valley. (This also works well for Carson City and Reno).
I will be presenting my favorite day trips; these are what I suggest when friends and family want to explore. My Little One asked me to take her friends out, and I gave them these choices. (How cool is it that a group of 17-year-old girls wants to go ghost-towning?)
I am narrowing down the presentation, but it will cover trips to Nevada and California, ghost towns, emigrant trails, and railroads. I might throw in some Tami’s Tips about other sites or places I’d visit along the way.
