This weekend was the annual Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Eagles and Agriculture. The event has expanded to include multiple tours, dinners, and events.
I worked four tours, including hosting three Eagle & Ranch tours at the Settlemeyer ranch and the Owl Prowl at our ranch. Of course, my tour included the history of Carson Valley and our ranch.

Our great horned owls were MIA after the storm, their favorite branch collapsed with the weight of snow. Our barn owls put on a show keeping everyone guessing where they were headed next.
If you like wildlife and agriculture, you should add it to your calendar for next year. It is usually the last weekend of January.
