Tami’s Travels: Full post to follow
I had an amazing trip Monday, right before the storm came in. This site has been on my list for years since I first saw the picture, but the “sketchy” road kept me away. It was good I didn’t know our destination before the trip; I wouldn’t have slept well.
This trip was the first heavy off-road since Honey Badger got her lift and tires. She did amazing!
There was no way she could have made it before. Jared and Bill were fantastic drivers and spotters and got us through. They spent a fair amount of time like this debating the best lines to overcome obstacles. I was good with the shelf roads I was worried about, but the washouts were crazy; it looked like half the mountain came down in flash floods. Thank you, Jared, Bill, and Linda, for a fun and memorable day!
This weekend is recovery training; fingers crossed the weather isn’t too bad. Jamison’s Station is awaiting the final edit, and I am halfway through writing about Monday’s trip.
Have a great weekend!
