This weekend I have a special treat; I get to tour the historic 1862 Nevada State Prison; they will even let me back out, I hope.
It is The Kid’s birthday, so we are having dinner in Genoa and a family BBQ at the ranch. Monday, I am headed out for a day trip to explore some great ghost towns and mines out of Hawthorne. I heard the Pink House is reopening Nevada Day!
