I am so glad I looked outside when I did. My little one was home sick for a week, so I had been sleeping in and missed a gorgeous sunrise earlier in the week. The rainbow more than made up for it. This is the first time I have seen a rainbow north to south. They also usually are hazy and dark under the arch. This time, the sun was hitting the mountains, illuminating the Sierras.
