It is time for my Mom’s first Ghost Town Road-Trip!
It is strange to be leaving without Honey Badger. But, while my mom town SUV isn’t as capable off the road, it will be a lot more comfortable. “The car” got a good bath today. Only HB received a name and gender, which Hubby and I disagree on, but that is another story… in which I’m right, of course.
I sadly washed off Edel’s nose art
I am probably overthinking packing food. No one can ever overpack camera gear.
On second thought, I need a keyboard and mouse
On the last trip to Death Valley, we had a horrible experience with restaurant food. Seriously, $150 for the family and I had a cup of tea. At the moment, the day was a cluster. But, looking back, the family laughs about the dinner and me not returning the rental Jeep because it was too clean.
Thankfully, we had goodies from Christmas gift baskets, and stores had stocking stuffers on sale. So we might live on cheese, salami, snacks, chai tea, and wine during the trip. Throw in some grapes, which hits all the food groups… Right?
