Saturday was a nice ride through Brunswick Canyon. No ghost towns but there were mines I can hike to when it’s cooler. We had 20+ vehicles and I met great people.
We ended our day at Sno Flow in Carson City, a fun treat on a hot day.
Friday I found treasures at a book store that was closing. Between hubby and me, we left with a huge box of books, many signed. My favorite book is “What a nice ass…working girls of Goldfield” about local burros.
The rest of the weekend wasn’t as fun. My computer guy told me to grab a big a** bottle of wine and start transferring 5000 photos by hand. It has been a roller coaster with a long ways to go but looks like it is working.
When this gets published I should be on top of Mt. Patterson. I am intimidated about a few steep tight turns but friends have been talking me through how to handle it, thanks Gregg and Rick for the advice. The US flag is back on the peak and I am looking forward to getting pictures of it.
