Travel Update: Full Post to Follow
This weekend I had the opportunity to visit the Donovan Mill in Silver City, outside of Virginia City. Following a tour we had full access to photograph the site.
The original mill was built in 1861 and increased over the years to 30-stamps. It operated almost 100 years and is one of the few remaining stamp mills in Nevada.
Thank you Comstock Foundation for preserving this amazing piece of history. Thank you Robin and the Photo Club for inviting me to tag along.
My little one counted for me. The mill and identifying a site from a previous trip brought me to 250 towns in Nevada and California!
