I hope everyone had a relaxing and warm weekend.
It was cold and dreary in Northern Nevada. If we had more snow I would have snowshoed to Snowshoe Thompson’s Cave.
I worked behind the scenes on the blog, linking social media and crediting sources in a better format. Thank you Tara for all the help and putting up with questions. I will be updating the website soon and will be asking for everyone’s input on new categories and features.
We had a brief break in storms and Edel and I went looking for bald eagles. In my 75 mile loop the only Baldie I saw was a mile from my house, go figure.
I started creating a master list of ghost towns by county, pulling from my favorite sources including Nevada Expeditions, Forgotten Nevada and of course Stan Paher’s Ghost Towns and Mining Camps. I started marking a map with where I have been but I need a lot more pins!
Finally if you haven’t joined Gab, the group I created has over 700 members! Anyone can post photos, articles and links. Ghost Towns and Backroads. You can find me under NVTami and I will be posting similar updates on articles and where I am exploring.
