I crossed my fingers weather cooperates and I can explore ghost towns this weekend. I was planning a stop today at Coloma on the way home from Sacramento but the storm already hit.
Winter is calving season in our valley and which attracts bald eagles. Usually the eagles arrive late December but they must have known I missed them and they arrived a month early.
