Travel Update: Full Post to Follow
Family ghost town vacation 2007. We visited friends in Elko, took 4th of July Pass to Jarbidge where we stayed a few days at the Tsawhawbitts (Say that 3 times fast!) Bed and Breakfast. I would like to go back and spend some time in the area photographing and researching.

There once was a Railroad town in Elko County named Ullin. It has disappeared. Do you know anything about Ullin? How it got its name perhaps. There is a village in Southern Illinois that is named Ullin and it too was a railroad town. Looking to see if there is a connection.

There isn’t a post office or listing in Nevada Place names under that name. Shawn Hall has a brief mention of it in Connecting the West. just that it was a stop and what remains.
