What a great day! We visited the ghost town of Como. We took the road most people say to avoid and were rewarded with some surprises. A beautiful canyon creek for lunch and what appears to be the remains of rock miners cabin I haven’t seen documented before. Very cool, but dang that road is rocky!
I got to practice my off road skills including going over rocks, tilting on side hills and backing up a narrow hill for oncoming traffic.
I’ll start work tomorrow on Como, the town that thought they would thrive while their rival Virginia City would die.
